Island Hopping

San Juan Islands are truly one of a kind. Did you know there are 172 named islands and reefs in San Juan County? We took our boat and met some friends out on several islands for a long weekend - Stuart Island, Jones Island and stoped by Deer Harbor, Orcas Island.

On Stuart Island you can go for a walk to Turn Point Lighthouse, this time of the year its beautiful scenery along the way and the grand final is the view from the Light House. On a clear day you can see Canada!

…and on a foggy day.

The whole Jones Island is a State park. You can find a lot of friendly deer and a small apple and pear orchard.
