Why Targa?

While researching salt water seaworthy boats, we came across the little known Targa. They are built in Finland and originally made for the Baltic Sea, with many islands similar to the San Juan Islands.

We met our friends at Cardinal yacht sales, took a few sea trials and realized this is the perfect boat for the islands and our family.

It is a great boat because it has a nice, heated cabin, it is also very safe to walk around all sides of the boat, great for our young children with less chance for them to fall in the water. There are two sleeping areas for weekend trips and we can fit our family of five. Boat is also set up great for crabbing and fishing.

And Evan's favorite part - it has a lot of power!
