Foundation Underway
While the weather has not been very friendly we have forged forward and our foundation is getting close to completion. Our crew has been hard at work building forms for all the foundation walls, and there are many. We opted to support all the perimeters of the exterior slabs with walls to prevent settlement and cracking down the road. You only get one chance to do a foundation and concrete work right, it is worth the extra investment in strong walls to make sure your home is forever strong.

While trying to make it home, the commute to Orcas island and back to main land put on a quite a show. The waves came up to about 8 feet ( about 2,5m ) high.
